spectrometric oil analysis program
An oil analysis program to forewarn the operator of any potential problem in the engine. The samples of oil are burned in an electric arc. The wavelength of the resulting light is then checked. These values are then compared against the standard to determine if there is any abnormality. Normally, it is referred to as SOAP.
